It's such a beautiful song isn't it? A romantic song it is. A lovely song that tells a true love story about how a guy feels for his woman. Im sure MJ himself felt some kinda way for someone when he wrote the song, so it is proof that some men genuinely feels that true love, but where is he????
There was a time when I thought that I would hear similar words from a man that I loved, but to no avail. This beautiful song tells a story about a dude who is so in love with his girl. He expresses his love for her by telling her to believe in his heart, by expressing to her how much she means to him & how much he needs her in his life. Sounds like love FORREAL FORREAL!!
But what happens when you realize that lyrics to a song is just that?...lyrics!
Even though Michael sings for all the men who are in love, it doesn't mean that every man is gonna see or feel love the same way as he describes in his song!

I thought I would, but love played a trick on me!
I don't even know what love looks like anymore!
Does it supposed to make me feel like this??

When I thought I had it, I felt all those things that Mike described to his lady!
So, why do I feel differently now???
Why do I feel that love is blind?
Love will only hurt me in the end!
Am I supposed to learn something from this???

But, what I do know is that love isn't built overnight! Love takes time to make but when it breaks you, it also takes time from you to heal from it.
There was a time when I felt the same way as "Mike's lady". I felt like I was HIS lady for life. I felt like he loved me enough to make me his world, his one & only TRUE love, the woman he trusted, adored, & respected as his queen after years of a strong friendship, but the unthinkable happened! LOVE got away! & now, I can't find it. Was love wearing a mask the whole time?
Where is the love???
Where has it gone?
Does anyone know?
Would you know what it looks like?
Cause forreal, I need it!
